HPM TROL is a modified, high molecular weight organic cellulose polymer that provides viscosity and hole stabilisation across all types of drilling. It mixes easily and disperses readily in make-up water, from freshwater through to salt water and saturated salt water.
HPM TROL forms a protective colloid film that inhibits hydration in water-sensitive formations while building viscosity. In diamond drilling, even low concentrations of HPM TROL support improved core recovery, and it performs well as a standalone additive or combined with bentonite, liquid polymer, and other products in the range.
